Privacy policy

Updated September 24, 2026. This policy covers NotiCatcher's Android app without an app login, its device-based free trial, and management of existing web subscriptions. The operator is WiseSignal Ltd.

Information processed on your device

Notification contents, keywords, sound settings and detection history are processed and stored on your device to provide the app's features. The new app does not upload these contents or keyword statistics to our servers. You can grant or revoke notification access in Android settings.

Server information and purposes

• To prevent repeated trials and resets of the free allowance, we transmit a hash of Android's app-scoped device identifier (ANDROID_ID). The server transforms it again using a secret key and stores a device reference, trial start time, last activity time, allowance periods and usage counts. A hash is still device-identifying information; we do not describe it as anonymous.
• We temporarily store event hashes to prevent duplicate deductions. These hashes do not contain notification contents or keyword text.
• To verify and restore paid access, we process Google Play purchase tokens, products, plans, payment states and expiration times. The new app does not request a separate Google login or access to the Play account's email address. Google Play processes card details.
• Firebase App Check and Play Integrity verify app authenticity. Google may process app and device integrity information and network request information. Operational server logs can include request times, IP addresses and error states.
• Existing web subscribers continue to use their Firebase login and Stripe customer and subscription records. A one-use connection code links the device reference to the existing subscription. We do not offer new web checkout.

Providers and retention

We use Google, Firebase and Google Cloud to verify and store trial and purchase information, and Stripe for existing web billing. Server records may be stored in the US us-central1 region; provider processing locations may differ. Information is used for service delivery, security and subscription management, not sold or used for advertising tracking.

Device trial records are configured to expire 24 months after last server activity, deduplication records after 7 days, connection codes after 10 minutes and rate-limit records after 1 hour. Purchase verification records are kept for up to 90 days after subscription expiration. Automated deletion can take additional processing time. Google Play and Stripe transaction records and accounting records required by law follow their respective policies and applicable retention obligations.

Deletion and requests

Contact info@wise-signal.com to request access, correction or deletion. For device-record deletion, include the ID displayed at the bottom of the app's usage/subscription or pricing screen. This is a hashed device identifier. Do not send notification contents or purchase tokens. For an existing web account, contact us from the account's email address. We request only the information necessary to verify the request.

Uninstalling does not delete server records or cancel a subscription. Manage Play subscriptions in Google Play, and existing web subscriptions on the existing subscriber page. Data deletion and billing cancellation are separate actions.
